Wedding Painting - Omni Hotel - Houston, Texas

Susan Golden, mother of the bride, commissioned this painting for Lynley and Alex Stern. The wedding and reception took place at the Omni Hotel in Houston. What a fabulous fetĂ© this was with no less than 6 bands throughout the evening and early morning. At 2 am the Mariachi band arrived and all the guests were treated to breakfast. Now that’s a party! Lynley was just beautiful and so sweet. Many blessings to them in their new life together! Painting is 20"x30".

Stefani Wier, mother of the bride, commissioned this painting for Brittany and Jonathan, both UT cheerleaders. I think the entire squad was there and it was quite a sight when they did their routine to Wabash Cannonball on the dance floor. The finalĂ© was throwing Brittany high up in the air, petticoat and all. Loved it! This painting is extra special as I included Brittany’s grandparents from old photos, who were watching from above. Live event painting is 16″x20″.

I just finished this Live Event Painting for the Hanks.  Callie was a gorgeous bride and so excited about her painting!  This was a fun group at Austin Country Club – especially the “Virgina Contingency”!

I just finished this painting for Nolan and Anastasia Smith, commissioned by the mother of the bride, Mari Teising.  It is the formal introduction at their wedding reception painted "live" at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, Texas.

This is at the Dutch Art Gallery Spirit of Texas show.  The artists will be there this Saturday at the opening reception.  Come by and say 'howdy'.  The show runs through the end of December.

White Rock Lake

This is the view from the end of my street.  We are so blessed to live on the "Peninsula" - the best sunsets in Dallas!!  I love to paint it at different times of the year.  This is from the summer and we still had plenty of wildflowers before the drought.
