Stefani Wier, mother of the bride, commissioned this painting for Brittany and Jonathan, both UT cheerleaders. I think the entire squad was there and it was quite a sight when they did their routine to Wabash Cannonball on the dance floor. The finalé was throwing Brittany high up in the air, petticoat and all. Loved it! This painting is extra special as I included Brittany’s grandparents from old photos, who were watching from above. Live event painting is 16″x20″.

Omni Hotel - Houston, Texas

Susan Golden, mother of the bride, commissioned this painting for Lynley and Alex Stern. The wedding and reception took place at the Omni Hotel in Houston. What a fabulous feté this was with no less than 6 bands throughout the evening and early morning. At 2 am the Mariachi band arrived and all the guests were treated to breakfast. Now that’s a party! Lynley was just beautiful and so sweet. Many blessings to them in their new life together! Painting is 20"x30".

Live Event Painting
Live Event Painting is a unique way to capture a special events, such as weddings, receptions and corporate events.

What is the Process?
Before a live event painting commission, I discuss with my client the 'scene' they would like painted and its composition. I then arrive at the event 2 hours early to set up and begin blocking in architectural elements. As guests begin to arrive, I start sketching in figures. I take photographs throughout the event and depending on the size of the canvas, I will use these photos to finalize the piece in the studio.

- Original oil painting on canvas, size 16"x20"
- Pre-event meeting or phone consultation
- 5 hours attendance and live painting at your event
- Easel lighting
- Touch up and finalization of the painting in the studio
- Travel costs within 30 miles of Dallas, Texas

Additional sizes, square shapes and gallery wrapped canvases are also available.  Please call or email for additional pricing.

I am located in Dallas, Texas however, depending on the date, I may be available to travel.  Travel expenses are additional to the package price and include travel time, round-trip transportation to Dallas / Fort Worth airport, rental car, and usually 2 nights lodging/accommodations.  

If the date of the event has already passed, I may be able to work from your photos.  Please contact me for further information.

I request a 50% deposit to book your date.  The balance is due the day of the event.
